Stylista,Inc. x Orange studio x Something Splendid

I am enthralled to say that Stylista, Inc. collaborated with Kent Lazarraga of Orange Studio and Kaye Ng and Novie Tacugue of Something Splendid to bring you these teal inspired pre-nup shots of the lovely couple, Joel and Christine .

I must say they are the sweetest couple. ♥

The ladies behind Something Splendid  added touches of florals and pastels which all the more remind us of love budding forth in summer. ♥

Kudos to Kent Larrazaga of Orange Studio who captured significant moments like these which the couple will forever cherish.

I and my sister, Ai Atabug of STYLISTA, INC. totally enjoyed playing dress-up with Joel and Christine. We couldn’t be more grateful to Kent, Kaye, Novie and Kim for collaborating with us! :)

Animal Instinct

My apologies for not updating my blog for the past few days. I’ve been trying to keep up with my crazy sked. Anyhoo, I’m back with an outfit post. ;)

This look is without a doubt a reflection of how you can play with animal prints and a dash of red without looking over the top.

To make it look chic and effortless, I wore a high-waist black shorts which features an exposed pocket lining.

I’ve always thought loafers to be reserved for preppy looks but this ensemble made me think twice. Breaking fashion rules is not that bad after all. hehe  And besides, there are no rules in the first place right?

I found this leopard clutch during my first trip to Bangkok last January, and for some strange reason I let it slip away. Fortunately, I had the chance to go back and this time, I didn’t have an inch of doubt in buying it. I’m glad I did!

If you are dying to have this red sheer top with leopard piping, you can grab one by clicking this.

I’ll just keep this short and simple because I have a bunch of errands today. I’ll try to update you every now and then. :)

Real Steel

I’ve changed my usual tune to achieve this look. Fashion, as stereotyped by many, is a form of expression. WHAT you’re wearing doesn’t really matter as much as HOW you wear it.

Everyday is an opportunity to dress up just how you want to and feel like, without thinking of what other people might say. Besides, it is YOUR OWN FASHION EXPRESSION, not theirs so who cares? ;)

Just be yourself and oh don’t forget to pick pieces which suit your personality and exude your character.

These can literally KILL! haha (sorry I just had to say it)

But always remember that freedom to express yourself has always been tied up with attitude. Be confident and strut your way to wherever your feet would lead you to. You’ll never know how far you can go ;)

And the best news? You can actually snag a gold top from our store by clicking this! How cool is that? :)

Froot Loops

This outfit was clearly inspired by my all-time favorite cereal FROOT LOOPS  ;)

Who says you can’t derive a look from morning food?

If you love the sleeveless top and the satchel as much as I do, you may grab both for yourself at STYLISTA,INC.

The juicy mix of apple green and neon pink is simply irresistible! It’s like apple and gum combined, right?

I seriously think this neck candy looks like the DNA’s double helical structure or a clump of sea corals? haha Since I’m in the mood for summer, I’d rather settle for the latter.

Squint and you may just spot the oh so cute heart-shaped cut-outs.

The belt added a streak of blue to wrap up the whole look.

If you’re not afraid to stand out in a nameless crowd, wear a colorful ensemble like this and you’ll never be missed out for sure. :)

Shoes in Neutral Hues

I just can’t help but love anything in neutral hues and of course that includes SHOES! Pieces such as these can easily be paired with ALMOST ANYTHING. Trust me ;) I’ve done it more than a couple of times and the best part is? It works every single time :) You’ll never go wrong with toned down colors.

I am excited to use my sky-high leopard ankle booties! :) It features hidden platforms, faux wooden chunky heels, lace up front closure and zipper at the sides (for ease in slipping in your feet just in case you’re too lazy to tie the laces). Innovative design huh?

Which one is your fave?

This maxi is without a doubt summer-ish!

I’ve been eyeing on shoulder cut-outs for quite some time already. And I just can’t believe I have one right now! yaaay! make it yours too! ;) It may be used as a cover-up if you’ll be off for summer escapades or a classic piece for late night gatherings. (I’ll show you how it’s done soon)

Who can resist a floral dress this lovely?

Summer is not just about candy colors— add a pinch of glitz to your closet with this party-ready top!

One thing to describe this—— CLASSIC!

Another fave piece from our collection. You can never go wrong with a tribal romper!

Jazz up your office-worthy blazers with polka details.

See you later STYLISTAS! More will be up for grabs tonight! :)

To Keep Me Company

A delayed flight is the most excruciating part of travelling. But is it really so? What would I do if I’m stuck in the airport? The answer is way too clear based on the pictures  haha

sipping iced coffee to perk me up

Gyuudon for dinner

took food shots while waiting for my milk tea at Seattle’s Best Coffee

A good book never fails to keep me company while on board. I wasn’t able to stop myself once I started flipping the pages. This book definitely deserves a separate post. I’ll tell you about it soon.

This is just the first of my innumerable Bangkok posts. ;)

I’ll be back with moooooore stories to tell ;)

Up and About

Someone’s going somewhere! Eeeek!!

I am beyond thrilled to tell you that I’m flying to BANGKOK a few hours from now! :) Good food, great sights and shopping ahead of me! yaaaay!!

I just had to sneak in to update you. Gotta go and finish packing! :) Hope you’ll have a blast this weekend! ;)

Esmeralda

Maybe you’re asking, “Who the heck is Esmeralda?!”

Let me tell you how that name was coined out. Well, it came from my fickle-minded friends who invited me over for dinner a few weeks ago. The moment they saw me wearing this ensemble, they shouted “Esmeralda!” At first, I didn’t know who they were referring to, was it the lady at my back or some random girl who walked passed by me?

Whoa! I figured it all out after seeing nobody else was standing but me. haha Maybe it was because of the style I exuded that night. I was really laughing my heart out as I approached them! :D

Okay so let’s have a chitchat about what I wore.

I’ve never ever seen a fuzzy maxi skirt before not until I saw this on the racks! What else should I do? I just snagged it right away before anybody did! hihi *ninja moves on the loose*

Since I wanted to keep everything subtle and simple, I just threw in some golds and greens to match my earth-colored maxi.

You know pretty well that I love experimenting with my look. There it goes again!

My “tie-a-knot” trick *wink

Don’t you just love how my neckpiece squared with my flats?

It’s as if they were made for each other! Don’t you think?

Here’s a snapshot of what our night had been. Good times with good friends make this life worthwhile! Too bad I wasn’t able to get a copy of our group photo.

with two of my equally lovely buddies, Jaja and Toni
(mark, maine, soy and paul? where are you guys?)

How about you? What would you wear on a night out with your friends?

Time Traveler

I have this odd fascination for travelling through time and beyond. I know it is a weird thing to say but I’d love to be given a chance to time travel to places I’ve never been or even heard of, meet historical people and experience what life had been ages ago. Call me a lunatic but I guess that seemingly impossible and hysterical fancy of mine inspired me to come up with this look.

If ever (in my wildest dreams!) I’d be caught up in a reverie of years long past, this is exactly what I would wear! (As if I would have the chance to prepare! haha)

Add in the fact that all I would have to put on is an oversized polo and tie it up with a belt!           And oh, it is 100x more comfortable than any outfit one could think of! (At least, I could easily move in wherever my time capsule would take me to haha)

What better way to pull off this bib-and-tucker than donning accessories like these?

Gold and red combined never looked so striking like this before!

I finished off this ensemble with buckled booties (assuming I’d be up for long distance walking, exploring grand cathedrals and castles in the middle ages)

Oh my, this crazy adventure is really getting into my head! haha                            I might actually believe myself!

Basking under the scorching heat of the sun…….. with my sunnies on!

You badly need one to beat the summer heat! ;) Wondering where you would take me…..
Now this is what I’ve been telling you!
Time travelling made stylish yet extra comfy! ;)

oversized polo (STYLISTA, INC.) | belt (Forever 21) | hairstyle (Goody spin pins)                        lipstick (Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Summer Sunset)                                                       sunnies (Ray-Ban) | rings and buckled booties (bazaar)

PS: thanks to my sissy who took all the pics :)
