Afternoon Tea

After a day’s work, I just craved for nothing but MILK TEA! So, my sissy (who is the culprit for making me this addicTEAd), kuya jibb and I drove our way to the nearest milk tea station (sounds like a local headquarters of some kind huh?). Oh! This post reminds me that I haven’t shared my current addiction for this drink! Uhmmm might as well talk about that anytime soon ;)

Just as we were heading to you-know-where, I spotted this hole in the wall which my sister’s been talking about. Since we wanted to try all the milk tea shops here, we decided to give this cutesy store called, “Tea Amo” a shot.  Guests like us were welcomed by the cozy ambiance and quirky wall full of love notes and scribbles from all who dropped by. COOL!

Behind The Scene

This is just a quick break from my Bangkok posts. ;) Allow me to share what happened during the Summer Photo Fun Day yesterday.

Looks like Cham‘s ready for the shoot! Thanks to Jaime Salvador Theves of Obsession Hair and Make-up for grooming all the participants.

It’s interesting how Patet’s hairdo reminds me of Johnny Bravo, don’t you think so? ;)

By the way, he has the quirkiest blog name I’ve ever encountered. Would you agree if I’d say it is www.sweetpateto.blogspot.com? I just love how unique and catchy it is! Haha

 I had to come up with a fuss-free look  to go with my jam-packed day. So, what should I do? Put on my ultimate no-brainer all-in-one outfit!

White tee? Check! 

Denim shorts? Check!

booties? Check!

Now that’s totally easy breezy! But here’s one thing, it’s way too simple right?

Add spunk to this ensemble by throwing in accessories such as a cool scarf, studded leather bracelet and a charm necklace. Now, you’re ready to take on the streets! ;)

A Glimpse of BKK

So these are just random shots I took during our trip to Bangkok. You practically  have an idea of what I’ll talk about in my upcoming posts. Think of food, sights, and shopping! I had a long day today and for some reason I feel so sleepy. I think my eyes are about to drop any minute! (Okay that was exaggerated! HAHA)

Plane Jane

BKK by night

This is what I wore on my way to Bangkok last month. We landed at around 2:30 am … I think. Just don’t mind my blurry aerial shot. Since I wasn’t able to get it the last time I went here, I grabbed every opportunity to snap it away (though I was half-awake half-asleep then) haha

I did nothing but munch on sweets and read a book while on board. I barely even noticed we were about to deplane. My mother shoved me with her elbow, reminding me to doze off a bit but book lovers out there will understand the feeling of i-just-have-to-finish-one-last-page and then end up flipping the next. Well, that’s exactly what happened to me. I ended up taking a short zizz and woke up to what seemed to be seconds of shuteye.

Children, listen to me, don’t you ever do that to yourself or you’ll suffer the consequences of having a tired-looking face like me! haha

On to my look ;) When it comes to airport wear, always think of comfort and ease. You don’t want to remove all your bangles and rings during security check in a sea of people walking to and fro, right?

And another thing, bringing a bag that can carry all your essentials will save you from the hassle. ;) Don’t forget to throw in small packs of lifesavers or should I say, anything you could munch on! I certainly need those wherever I go. Oh, the pig in me chimes in again :D

Shoes with ties are not recommended though. But I must say, these booties are an exemption to that. Wanna know why? Ha! You might laugh if I say I just slip in my feet easily through these! neat cheat? definitely! HAHA

 

That’s it for today. Hope I gave you essential tips when it comes to airport apparel.

Loosen Up

After a week-long load of stress and all that, I finally had the slightest chance to slack off! yaay for me! ;D

You might be wondering what’s the connection between these shots and me driving myself to lazy town! Well, I had the best chill night ever by getting myself a sleep-inducing Swedish whole body massage few nights ago. Oh boy, that says it all! You probably guessed I was too lazy to get up after that. I’d rather call it my sleeping pill! haha

Ending the night with a cup of warm green tea was just what I needed.

Just As Planned

I’ve been looking for the perfect planner ever since the year began but you see, 4 months have passed and I’m still on a search……. not until yesterday! haha I bumped into this store which unexpectedly sells planners even up to this time of the year! i know it’s kinda late right? haha Well, lucky me! ;)

Haven’t written a single note yet. Even my name’s not on it. I think I have to find the perfect pen to engrave my name on this lovely cover page.

I’ve fallen in love with the details of each page. Perhaps you would also. ;)

Every page leads me to another trip which adds up to my year-long journey of laughter and tears, travels and self-discovery, and whatnot.

 Come with me as I make this year the best…yet ;)

Finally my precious memories and random ideas have found their second home ( well the first one’s gotta be my brain hahaha). I really like jotting down things so i won’t forget them. For this reason, my first blog was named, “written thoughts“.

Once forgotten, all that’s left…is just but a hazy memory.

I’m loving every bit of this planner!!! hahaha can’t wait to fill this up and make my family, friends and loved ones be a part of it too! ;) My day’s not the best I can say but it’s going pretty well. At last, I have a day all to myself. Haven’t done this in ages.
