Color Duet

Blue and orange may be an unlikely combination but I’d like to prove that wrong! ;)

With the right accessories and pieces to match the top, you’re on the right track.

Tricky tip: Just keep in mind to balance the look with toned down numbers like the one I used : simple white shorts and gladiator sandals. In this way, the lovely colors of the top will still be noticed.

The tribal beads of my dangling earrings and the studded leather bracelets all the more added accents of orange/rustic appeal to the garment.

You see, it isn’t that bad right?

Here’s the good news! STYLISTA, INC. recently launched its 10th Collection! :) And guess what? Two-toned tops and lace shorts are up for grabs! Click this if you want to have one for yourself. ;)

You can choose from a variety of unique color combinations such as:

Salmon Pink and Sky Blue

Hot Pink and Yellow

Sky Blue and Light Brown

Feel free to take your pick! ;)

What unusual color combination would you like to mix and match? ;)

Hip in Pink

I’ve always thought of pink as something girly…………. but not this time!

Shift your look from feminine to something hip and bold by adding denim pieces such as a military-inspired jacket and tattered shorts. A scorpion ring from STYLISTA.INC was all I needed to keep that jaunty vibe coming in.

This is what I wore during the Summer Photo Fun Day with my sister, Koii, Dexter and the rest of the participants. To celebrate Davao Pride, I slipped into this yellow dip-dyed shorts from The Factory which is a recently launched online shop that sells customized clothing. Blame it on the creative minds of Aidx Paredes and Kyrie Banos! ;) Keep your eyes peeled for their 2nd collection!

Ha! I knew I just have to buy the shorts the moment I saw it!

Pink is not so girly after all, don’t you agree?

Breaking fashion stereotypes is all about trying to mix and match pieces you never thought would jive. So next time you want to have that effortlessly carefree look, you know what the formula is! Think of denim + pink + booties!

Whoa! No classes today right? YAAY for the students out there! Make the most out of it! Have a nice day guys! :D

Take Me To The Streets

I had to come up with a fuss-free look  to go with my jam-packed day. So, what should I do? Put on my ultimate no-brainer all-in-one outfit!

White tee? Check!

Denim shorts? Check!

booties? Check!

Now that’s totally easy breezy! But here’s one thing, it’s way too simple right?

Add spunk to this ensemble by throwing in accessories such as a cool scarf, studded leather bracelet and a charm necklace. Now, you’re ready to take on the streets! ;)

Scarf (Mango)  | belt (What A Girl Wants) | Denim shorts (Femme) | Studded leather bracelet (Folded and Hung) | booties (Bangkok)

Tell me what you think about this look. ;)

A Glimpse of BKK

So these are just random shots I took during our trip to Bangkok. You practically  have an idea of what I’ll talk about in my upcoming posts. Think of food, sights, and shopping! I had a long day today and for some reason I feel so sleepy. I think my eyes are about to drop any minute! (Okay that was exaggerated! HAHA)

How was your day guys? ;)

Up and About

Someone’s going somewhere! Eeeek!!

I am beyond thrilled to tell you that I’m flying to BANGKOK a few hours from now! :) Good food, great sights and shopping ahead of me! yaaaay!!

I just had to sneak in to update you. Gotta go and finish packing! :) Hope you’ll have a blast this weekend! ;)

Esmeralda

Maybe you’re asking, “Who the heck is Esmeralda?!”

Let me tell you how that name was coined out. Well, it came from my fickle-minded friends who invited me over for dinner a few weeks ago. The moment they saw me wearing this ensemble, they shouted “Esmeralda!” At first, I didn’t know who they were referring to, was it the lady at my back or some random girl who walked passed by me?

Whoa! I figured it all out after seeing nobody else was standing but me. haha Maybe it was because of the style I exuded that night. I was really laughing my heart out as I approached them! :D

Okay so let’s have a chitchat about what I wore.

I’ve never ever seen a fuzzy maxi skirt before not until I saw this on the racks! What else should I do? I just snagged it right away before anybody did! hihi *ninja moves on the loose*

Since I wanted to keep everything subtle and simple, I just threw in some golds and greens to match my earth-colored maxi.

You know pretty well that I love experimenting with my look. There it goes again!

My “tie-a-knot” trick *wink

Don’t you just love how my neckpiece squared with my flats?

It’s as if they were made for each other! Don’t you think?

Here’s a snapshot of what our night had been. Good times with good friends make this life worthwhile! Too bad I wasn’t able to get a copy of our group photo.

(mark, maine, soy and paul? where are you guys?)

How about you? What would you wear on a night out with your friends?
