Life’s a Garden

Again, I apologize for the 2-week blogging break. Thank you to those who dropped by even if I had no updates or whatsoever. Well, my day’s not typically bright and good. To make things peachier, I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to come up with a decent post but I’m doing this so that you’ll be left with something to read (or not). Gosh! Do I, in any way, make sense? O.o

Just pretend you didn’t read the first part, okay?

So yeah, off we go.

As the title implies, this look was primarily inspired by a garden full of blooms. I could only imagine myself soaking up the sunniest sunshine and lying on the greenest lawn until I get intoxicated by the sweet and almost hypnotizing aroma of flowers of every kind. *dreamy me*

So instead of just indulging myself in fanciful daydreaming, might as well wear something that reminds me of it the whole time!

A pot of flowers (thanks to the lovely top)— check!

The blue velvet sky (the skirt clearly screams it out) — check!

A ray of sunshine (as evidenced by the shoes)– ✓✓double check!

And oh, did I ever mention about the interesting peek-a-boo detail at the back?

This photo’s a tad bit blurry but I kinda like it! teehee

Finish the whole look with a fish tail braid and now, you’re ready!

Allow me to insert pics of what I did few weeks ago, ok?

Welcome to Cellar de Oboza, the perfect spot to dine in with friends and family.

Old Wood Charm

Of all the classic dishes I’ve tasted that night, this unbelievably-crispy-on-the-outside-yet-tender-fish-surprise-inside emerged to be the winner! And with that said, I barely remember the name of the dish. I think my description wouldn’t even suffice how heavenly it tasted. And the Guava Tamarind Sauce? I can’t even start on how to give an account of the playful mix of gustatory madness my taste buds enjoyed!

How on earth can a place so cozy and laid-back be situated right in the heart of Davao City?

With my pretty sister and cousins, Ate Lian and Abby :)

How’s your day going so far? ;)

In Full Bloom

Pardon my long hiatus. There has just been an unexpected turn of events. I’d rather not bother you with the trivial details. So yeah, hope you get the picture. ;)

But you know what, this means only one thing! I’ve got a load of stories to share! haha

Well here’s one:

This is the second set of what transpired during our photoshoot with Shey. Quite different from the first one huh?

This time, we let the garden-themed vibe saturate the summer breeze. Knickknacks from Love that Booth and Something Splendid  did the trick! And oh, the sunny weather was also a major plus!

Look! There’s a rainbow! I don’t know how Shey did it but this one’s unedited.

Seriously, looking at the pictures makes me want to have a rainbow in each of them. haha! Oh,  the kid in me never died.

Don’t you just love how squared our outfits were? Donning colored cardigans over crochet detailed tops is a sure thing to do this season. Top it off with a hat of your choice, then you’re ready to bask under the sun!

You may also want to check out the other half of this photoset in kimi’s blog.

Let me redirect you to Shey‘s online portfolio as well. Here’s the link:

By the way, most of the pics were edited by Shey. Some of them were done by Kimi. Thank you guys!

PS: I can’t wait to post the last set! It’s the quirkiest of them all! Talk about F.U.N.!

Hope you’re having a great day! ;)
