Put a Ribbon on It

My sister, Shey and I did a bubbly photoshoot last Saturday to launch STYLISTA, INC’s All Dolled Up Collection.

For a change, we decided to shoot indoors this time.

The funny thing is, I literally had to grab anything from the shoe rack because we barely had time to prepare. I never knew the x-strapped wedges matched pretty well with my dress until I saw the shots. Whew! *A sigh of relief here*

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but I tweaked my hair color a wee bit. If you ask me what color it is exactly, I really can’t figure it out myself. I might just try to post about this next time. ;)

Enough of my random hair story, feel free to check out our All Dolled Up Collection here.  ;)

Have a nice day guys!

School Diary

I’m thrilled to bring you the final shots of what my lovely friend, Kim and talented buddy, Shey worked on few weeks ago! ;)

We missed school a lot that we wanted to dress-up as school girls! haha (did I just say I missed going to school?!)

Speaking of which, I can still vividly recall how kimi and I spent our midday breaks eating burgers all the time! (Yes, the SAME burger every time but I didn’t mind that at all. Thanks to my dearest momsie hihi)

Talking about random school happenings makes me miss my alma mater and miss the people I’ve been with all the more.

The foxy school girl meets the teacher’s pet.

(Disclaimer: I’m not a teacher’s pet, am I? HAHA This is just for photoshoot purposes) *wink

I certainly would have worn something like this to school everyday, if and only if there were no school dress codes to strictly follow. teehee

You can visit kimi’s blog here and view another set of photos. ;)

PS: This is just the starting stitch of the thread of pics I’ll show you soon. ;)

P.P.S. All pictures were edited by Shey except for the first one which was done by kimi.

P.P.P.S. Own a top similar to what I’m wearing by clicking this.

Hip in Pink

I’ve always thought of pink as something girly…………. but not this time!

Shift your look from feminine to something hip and bold by adding denim pieces such as a military-inspired jacket and tattered shorts. A scorpion ring from STYLISTA.INC was all I needed to keep that jaunty vibe coming in.

This is what I wore during the Summer Photo Fun Day with my sister, Koii, Dexter and the rest of the participants. To celebrate Davao Pride, I slipped into this yellow dip-dyed shorts from The Factory which is a recently launched online shop that sells customized clothing. Blame it on the creative minds of Aidx Paredes and Kyrie Banos! ;) Keep your eyes peeled for their 2nd collection!

Ha! I knew I just have to buy the shorts the moment I saw it!

Pink is not so girly after all, don’t you agree?

Breaking fashion stereotypes is all about trying to mix and match pieces you never thought would jive. So next time you want to have that effortlessly carefree look, you know what the formula is! Think of denim + pink + booties!

Whoa! No classes today right? YAAY for the students out there! Make the most out of it! Have a nice day guys! :D
