V is for Violet

Warning: photo-heavy entry ahead ;)

Just to make up for the lost time, here’s another long fashion post for you guys! You’ll know why in a bit.

This is what I wore last Sunday during the movie night with the fambam and kuya Jibb. Spiderman was one heck of a movie! Yeah! Coming from someone who watches movies once in a blue moon! haha Guys, it’s a must-watch!!

Let’s get down to business this time, shall we? :)

Loooookie! the lacy side detail is a sweet surprise, huh? This skirt has been sitting in my closet for months already. Good thing I saw the beauty in it and made this as my focal piece to work with and eventually came up with the lacy                     bat-wing blouse and a pair of two-toned ballet flats to match.

Make it a point to own two-toned pieces which will make pairing a problem no more. In that case, you can choose one or why not make use of both hues to come up with a look?

Neat cheat? Y for YES!! haha!! :D

This post is different from the previous ones I’ve made solely because I didn’t stick with only one look (well, relatively the main garments are the same but I added few side dishes to spice up everything!). Please drop your comments below if you think it’s helpful or not. :)   I’d wholeheartedly appreciate it! teehee

Here, I’ve added another element: a satchel which belongs to the same color scheme I wanted to play with. This one’s perfect for school too! It’s big enough to hold notebooks, standard-sized books or an ipad. You might want to order one for yourself by clicking this. :)

If you’re in the mood for some geekiness, button up your top and put on your hipster glasses! Still works, right?

For those who want to step up their game, adorn your neck with a lovely beaded bib necklace of your choice. It’ll change your look in a jiffy! Trust me! :)
You may also opt to don a beanie hat to ground the whole look down.
Effortlessly chic and shabby that is.

Yep, that’s pretty much it! Hope you like how I altered the look a wee bit to fit every taste of my beloved stylistas out there! ;) Whatever fashion sense you have, may it be simple, extraordinary or whatnot, hope you found something that pleases you.
I ended up wearing the basic look minus the bag. I used a small navy blue fringe bag instead. Sadly, I wasn’t able to take a quick pic because I swapped bags at the last minute! How fickle-minded! haha

Hope this post was of any interest to you! :)
Please tell me what you think of the looks I came up with. :)

Froot Loops

This outfit was clearly inspired by my all-time favorite cereal FROOT LOOPS  ;)

Who says you can’t derive a look from morning food?

If you love the sleeveless top and the satchel as much as I do, you may grab both for yourself at STYLISTA,INC.

The juicy mix of apple green and neon pink is simply irresistible! It’s like apple and gum combined, right?

I seriously think this neck candy looks like the DNA’s double helical structure or a clump of sea corals? haha Since I’m in the mood for summer, I’d rather settle for the latter.

Squint and you may just spot the oh so cute heart-shaped cut-outs.

The belt added a streak of blue to wrap up the whole look.

If you’re not afraid to stand out in a nameless crowd, wear a colorful ensemble like this and you’ll never be missed out for sure. :)
